Doors, not locks
A learning plan should show the next steps as open doors: lit ones close to what you know, dimmer ones further away. Nothing is locked. If you want to jump ahead, you can, and come back.
This matters for grown-ups especially. Being told you are not ready yet can end a return to learning before it begins.
A course says a lesson is "far from what you have done so far". What should that mean?
A lesson is kept once you've answered the question and written at least 8 words. Nobody grades it; it stays on this device.
