Accessibility

Accessibility for older adults and everyone else is the product here, not a compliance layer. Our floor:

• WCAG 2.2 AA on every page, including game boards.
• Full keyboard play for every game; visible focus; reduced motion respected.
• Screen-reader board narration (square-by-square, last move, check/capture) as games ship.
• No meaning carried by colour alone; large-piece and high-contrast board options.
• Targets at least 44×44 points.

Before any game ships, a tester completes a full game against the bot using a screen reader (native) and the keyboard only (web).

Known gaps and a contact will be listed here as the site grows. This is an early skeleton.
