← Drawing, Again · Lesson 5 of 5

Draw it again

About it

Put the same object in the same place and sit in the same chair. Draw it for five minutes, using any of the three ways of seeing: the edge, the gaps, the measure.

Now turn the first drawing over and lay the two side by side. Do not score them. Say out loud one thing you noticed this time that you did not notice the first time.

You did not stop being able to draw. You stopped looking, and looking comes back with use.

Put the two side by side

If you printed the sheet in lesson 1, draw in its second box now. If you did not, lay the two drawings next to each other on the table. Either way, nothing is marked.

One question

What is the before-and-after for?

Say it back
A lesson is kept once you've answered the question and written at least 8 words. Nobody grades it; it stays on this device.
