Find a circle, and know when to wait
Curious children often most need other curious children. A maths circle, a chess club or a coding group gives them people to think with, which matters as much as harder work.
You can start one: three families, a problem a week, a kitchen table. You do not need to know the answers; you need to ask "how did you get that?"
And sometimes the right move is no move. If your child is happy, interested and has friends, more is not always better. Waiting is a decision too.
Your child is happy, has friends and loves their maths puzzles at home. What is a reasonable choice?
A lesson is kept once you've answered the question and written at least 8 words. Nobody grades it; it stays on this device.
