Family Hour

The same idea, in two registers. You work on the grown-up version here; your child works on theirs at Spark & Anvil; you share a table. Pick an idea, print its card, fold it down the middle and stand it between you.

The hour

  1. Sit at one table. The grown-up opens the Whetstone way in; the child opens the Spark & Anvil one. Each of you works on your own side for a while.
  2. Halfway, swap one question: read your side of the card aloud and answer the other’s.
  3. Finish together with the last line on the card, off the screens.
