The Word Table

Seven tiles, the same for everyone on today's date. Make one word from them to open an empty board across the star, then see the best opening there is. A child who taps Today's rack in LexiTales on Spark & Anvil gets the very same seven, so you can compare words at dinner.

The word list is the children's list, so the rack plays the same at both tables. Each tile shows its value, and your word is scored where it scores best. A word of five tiles or more earns +20; all seven earns +35 instead.

Today's rack

Play a word of your own first — your word comes before the engine's.

The result line has two scores, and a mark on yours: ◼ if you could say what your word means, ◻ if you only knew it was a word. In LexiTales a child earns the ◼ by naming the meaning. Once you've seen the best opening, a word you play counts as ◻. The line has no date and no count of days, so there is nothing to keep up.

A new rack comes at your midnight (reload the page to see it), and every rack in the bank comes round before any repeats. Everything runs on your device; nothing you type is sent or kept.
