The Sealed Envelope

Once a year, write ten predictions about your own year, each with the odds you give it, and one hope. Seal it. A year later, open it and see which came true. Over the years you learn which things about yourself you predict well, and which you don't.

The envelope is a file you save, or a sheet you print and put in a real envelope. This site stores nothing: if you lose the file, it is gone. Some families open theirs on the same morning each year, at New Year or Tết.

Odds are how sure you are, from 1 to 99. 50 means a coin toss. A prediction you are 100% sure of isn't really a prediction.
