Spark & Whetstone is free, and it stays free. A Patron membership is a way to help keep the commons going — nothing more. It never holds anything back from anyone.

- Every game and puzzle, and unlimited review of your own games
- Every course and every lesson, including the printable guidebooks
- Rooms to play with the people you know
- The Library
- Everything saved on your device, and the ability to delete it
What a Patron can have as well
- Printed guidebooks at cost. A bound paper copy of a course guidebook, at the printer's price. The printable guidebook stays free for everyone.
- Club organiser tools. Extra help for people who run a game night or club — printable table cards and a host checklist. Playing in a room stays free.
- A name in the annual report. If you would like it, your name (or a nickname) in the year's transparency report.
The test we hold every perk to: would someone who isn't a Patron lose a way to learn or play? If the answer is yes, it isn't a perk and we won't offer it.
How to become one
Not open yet. Patronage will run through a nonprofit fiscal sponsor shared with Spark & Anvil, and that sponsorship is still being finalised. Until it is, there is nothing to pay — and nothing is held back.
