The receipt guess

You'll need: a shopping list or a till receipt with the total covered, paper, a pencil each.

  1. One person reads the prices aloud, one at a time.
  2. Everyone keeps a rounded running total in their head and writes a guess at the end.
  3. Uncover the total. Whoever is closest explains how they rounded, and everyone tries their way on the next receipt.
