The sound hunt

  1. Put the five things on the table.
  2. Say a sound, short: /m/.
  3. The child finds the thing that starts with it.
  4. Swap: the child says a sound and you find it.

You'll need: five things from the kitchen.

Keep this in mind

Say the sound short, then wait: finding it is their job.
