The Cube

All six faces, laid flat so you can see every sticker at once. Turn a face with the buttons, or type moves in cube notation. The undo button always takes back the last move first. There is no clock here: the cube is a puzzle about order, not speed. New to it? Start with Thinking in Turns.

Across the table

One person holds a real cube. The other presses Scramble here and reads each move aloud, slowly, with Read it aloud if you like. Then swap: the turner reads back the undo, last move first, and the cube comes home. The course’s table activity is the same game.

Children can climb the same ideas on CubeSensei, where they predict what a move will do before they turn it.
